Introduction

RageFit ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we share it when you use the RageFit mobile application (the "App").

Information We Collect

1) Information You Provide

• Account Information: email address, username, and authentication details when you create an account or sign in.
• Goals and Preferences: goal titles, goal settings (targets, deadlines, goal types), completion/failure status, streak settings, notification preferences, roast/content preferences.
• Social Information (if you use social features): friend requests, friend lists, rivalries, messages you send, and block list actions.
• Support/Reports: feedback or content reports you submit.

2) Information Collected Automatically

• Device & App Information: device type, OS version, app version, language, time zone, and basic diagnostics.
• Push Notification Tokens: tokens used to send you notifications and metadata needed to deliver notifications reliably.
• App Usage Data: interactions with features (e.g., goal creation, completion rates, streaks, event participation) to operate the App and improve stability and performance.

3) Device Data for Goal Tracking (with your permission)

RageFit may collect and process device data necessary to measure goal progress. This data depends on your device and permissions you grant:

• Screen-Time / App Usage (Android only, optional): If you enable Usage Access, the App may read app usage statistics (e.g., time spent in apps) to support screen-time goals. If you choose app-specific screen-time goals, we store the selected app identifiers you choose. We do not collect a list of all installed apps.
• Movement / Fitness Data (optional): If you enable step/movement tracking, the App may read step counts or movement-related signals from supported device services.
• Focus Timer Data (optional): If you use a focus timer, the App records timer duration and completion.

If you deny or revoke these permissions, the related features may not work or may provide limited functionality.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide core functionality (accounts, goals, metrics tracking, events, leaderboards, social features).
• Send notifications about deadlines, failures, roasts, and activity (if enabled).
• Generate and deliver in-app messages including AI-generated "roasts" (if enabled).
• Prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, and maintain security.
• Debug issues and improve performance and reliability.
• Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the App.

AI-Generated Content ("Roasts")

If you enable AI content, RageFit generates roasts using an AI service provider.

What we send to the AI provider

We send only the minimum information needed to generate a roast, such as goal name and description, goal type and frequency, whether it was missed or completed, failure context (e.g., missed deadline), and metric context (targets/actuals). For app-specific screen-time goals, we may include the selected app identifiers (package names) in the prompt. We do not intentionally send sensitive personal attributes, and we instruct the AI to avoid protected classes, hate, harassment, self-harm content, or other disallowed topics.

Your controls

You can disable AI-generated roasts in Settings (where available). You may also report inappropriate content through in-app reporting.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information:

• With service providers that help us run the App (authentication, notifications, AI providers, analytics).
• With other users if you use social features (username, profile info, leaderboard placement).
• For legal and safety reasons if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Data Retention

We retain account and app data while your account is active. You can delete your account in the App. After deletion, we delete or de-identify personal data within 30 days.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. You can opt out of AI-generated roasts via settings and control device permissions via your device settings.

Children's Privacy

RageFit is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest. No system can be 100% secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the App.
